Just a Woman with a Sharpie

I'm a non-smoker and I've never tried water skiing. I enjoy LONG "sits" on the beach with a seriously COLD Diet Moutain Dew in a can. Blessed that being a MOM is my calling. Was raised Catholic but I'm learning slowly it's OK to "free style" pray out loud in front of people. I own SHARPIES in almost every color, shape and size. Met my husband on a blind date one Friday, three days later he asked me to be his wife. God is good, all the time. All the time, God is good!

CUFC U/13 GOLD

We walked away slowly and a little sore from the Hot-lanta fields with one win, one tie and one slightly crushing loss. Lessons were learned on how to improve as a team...but game analysis...I leave that for the coach and other parents more educated about soccer than myself. What I do know, a little more speed and tough, legal aggression will more than likely be on the lists for future training sessions in the weeks to come.

What we weren't lacking this weekend was team bonding, cheer stunts, good times, younger sibling fun, hospitality from the locals and smoldering sunshine. It's going to be a great season. I look forward to spending hours on the grassy sidelines with this group of parents, players and one enthusiast, out numbered by teenage estrogen coach.
