*team work of all families
*friends and family who came from around the country
*a delightful Pastor and wonderful message
*the wedding party and their encouragement throughout
*BBQ done right
*cold drinks of your choice on ice
*church music played by relatives
*a heated up dance floor full of serious moves
*a groom dance that made all the oldies blush
*tuxes and fancy dresses
MORE than all of those extras listed above, more important than the venue or hand picked play list. The number one reason to celebrate is love. Big fat happy love!
LOVE was in the air for sure. A glowing bride and a handsome groom ready to share their last name, a bank account, a real commitment, a home and their entire life, including a dog name Blaze :)
Diane floated like a fairy tale princess down the aisle towards the alter, towards her soon to be husband and toward the starting line of the first day as a wife. It will surely be a memorable Saturday afternoon, engraved in her heart forever. Not even a slight chance she will forget how filled up she felt on May 2, 2015.
And I as a parent will never ever forget the smitten, gleeful look on her face. Part excitement, part-glad the hour had finally arrived, part-I can't believe I snagged his heart and part-geez this fancy undergarment thingy is tight. A look of true joy, a look of love for her soul mate awaiting their first kiss as Mr. and Mrs. Broom.
