The song I'm Alright sung by Jodee Messina always makes me feel upbeat and happy. 100% of the time without fail bringing a smile to my face and the desire to get close to a really loud Karaoke machine. I'm not saying it would be pretty just hand me the microphone and let me have some fun. This song will forever hold  spot #8 on my all time favorite songs play list. It has the kinda melody that forces the convertible top down, wind in your hair and singing in your best cruising around town voice. 
Don't worry about the stares, you will get used to them.

Today is a gorgeous spring day, my cup is overflowing with sunshine, blue skies and the slightest of breezes. The many gloomy rainy days from the week have prompted colorful trees, flowers and bushes to blossom over night. Lovely. 

Riding down back country roads always gets me feeling alright.
Today was no exception.
How am I doing you ask.

For this curly haired Greek girl, having fun comes naturally. No work needed. I am pretty certain Edie could be super entertained at a funeral, in the most respectful way that is. Last Saturday was no exception. No one died, someone was born. Not last week but 11 years ago. Off to the civic center parking lot to celebrate Delaney's birthday. Obviously a Fair is already loaded with opportunity for smiley moments, giggles, almost peeing in your pants, clown nose wearing excitement. This energetic friend skipped around the place like it was the first time she had ever ridden inside the belly of a bear. Geesh, guess she had been living under a rock. Delilah kept her hopping, actually I take that back, running from ride to ride. Good thing she is in shape. I was breathing so hard as the mom with the camera I missed certain photo ops cause I simply couldn't keep up with the matching pink duo. Thank you Edie, you were such a big help with the kids. Not sure how you got La La in the scary house but I'd say she kinda liked it and doesn't seem scarred at all.

 

Sister girl, can you believe I posted these pictures already? I'd like to just call it even and say your nanny payment for the day is getting these to you before next March. Ya know, less than a week is a huge record breaker for me.

The music was too loud.

The beat was too good.

The temptation was too great.

The moment was too right.

The engineer dude was too cute. 

Although some of these moves don't exactly look PG, they were.

 Promise mom!

Although I have to admit I did get a $1 tip.

I'm sure I danced better than that but times are tough ya' know.

This guy doesn't get embarrassed. He just let doesn't let his panties get in a ruffle about little stuff. Or any of the stuff that may include his wife feeling the need to act a fool, up in her, up in her.

I never get discouraged from trying.  

If you can't be a goon star in the middle of a local carnival well....loosen up a bit. Grab a funnel cake, jump on twirly ride and dance with your husband and enjoy the ride!

Wait, I messed up, for the safety of others, grab the greasy treat after the Gravitron...not before.
