The No Worries All Women Conference Call Bible Study

Starting On Tuesday, February 19th @ 9:00pm

 

 

 

JOHN 16:33

"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

 

 

I am over the top excited about this Bible Study. It was the first one I participated in as a baby believer and it felt just right, answering so many basic questions about being a Christian.

I distantly remember a nervous excitement in my gut every week as I grabbed my sharpie, One on One Discipling Book and my flip phone to call in. Listening to guest speakers on each topic, real people with years of experience floating through the air from cell tower to cell tower. Landing in my ear, churning around a while like a milkshake and eventually planting a seed in my heart.

 God's Word never comes back void, even if you push the mute button on your iPhone and never say a word during the study.

*Witnessing

*Obedience 

 

As I have been preparing, getting all my ducks in a row for the kick off on the 19th, I've been reviewing my blue plastic covered notebook. One chapter at a time, chewing on and enjoying it's contents as I go. I am still learning and growing, 4 years later as I

 re-read my scribbled answers, side notes and look up related verses. Turning my big ole head sideways with a smile,

as if I have never seen this before.

 (I love how the Word of God speaks to

you differently in different seasons)

 Oh, yea, this is good solid material.

    

          I have to admit, I have dragged my feet just a bit getting everything going. Even text book extroverts get antsy about people stuff. It's true. While I am being honest, I will tell you I am just a regular soccer mom who more than likely struggles with the same stuff you struggle with. Trying to make it all work in this life. Schedules, marriage, raising kids, avoiding temptation, work, getting along with not favorite people...etc. So if you are looking for the perfect study with the perfect leader, click the red "X" at the top of your screen and leave me here, doing the best I can. What I am good at is coming up with reasons not to do something that takes a bit of effort and putting yourself out there. 

 

You may be doing the same thing right now about listening in.

 

I don't have time....

I am already doing a study....

I have done this book before....

I don't know enough about the Bible....

I don't even own a Bible...

I have been walking with the Lord for 30 years..

I work during the time of the call....

I'm not any good at this all girl stuff...

I'll  be the only one who doesn't finish the weekly work.. 

I am traveling during the time of the call...

I am in my pajama's by 9:00 at night...

 

OK, please....just stop, you are killin' me smalls. You may or may not know I am a NIKE girl so I will fly under the radar, borrowing

their slogan and adding 2 words.

 

NO WORRIES......JUST DO IT!

About 3 weeks til go time, plenty of time for me to get books ordered and distributed. A small price of $12.50 each :)
