We have been in Charlotte for the week for travel soccer tryouts.  Charlotte, NC, our future new BIG city we will call home, very soon. Something truly exciting about discovering all the new stuff about a new place to live. On the other hand, leaving the old behind can be a emotional. For now, I am focusing on the adventure of it all. Clean slate, blank canvas and the simple fact that getting lost actually equals finding your way around. For me

and the 3 little ones, that is our favorite way to go.

Charlotte, I am slowly warming up to you.

 

New trees to climb.

New libraries.

New traffic patterns.

New soccer fields.

New moons.

New daddy time.

New playgrounds.

New friends.

New history.

New wild flowers.

New places to home school.

New fountains to play in.

New Goodwill stores for classic finds.

New fast food.

New 7-11 Slurpee flavors.

New cute small town shops.

New coffee house hideouts for rainy days.

New big city newspaper news.

New train tracks to avoid.

New noises.

New smells.
