Baby Daddy Receives Father of the Day
Day 21-Year 3
June, 23, 2014
Team Zybko

The envelope please.......{drum roll}.....and the winner is.....Baby Daddy! Father of the Day goes to this guy and here is why.

Being a hands on, caring, nurturing father isn't a destination or a pinned dot on a time line, it is an er'day situation, er'day. No cool, end of race FINISH banner on the horizon to heroically break through and no awards given to hold over ones head as a delicate champagne shower washes over you. Great fathers and roll models don't do it for the crowd or glory of it all. Matters of the heart and soul done right are just that way. Similar deal as a mother, fatherhood is 24 hour job, 365 days a year with no vacation. Working many tiring hours away from their loved ones to provide for a big family is no break for them, not on their body or their minds, especially when they would much rather be their kids. I could never be as good a father as Baby Daddy. It's true. Being the leader of this pack is huge responsibility and big deal. Thank you honey for the kind of person you are and the constant firm, role model you show to our children, with and without words.

We are all thankful and love you to the World Cup and back. (maybe one day we will celebrate from there) So, in lue of any actual presents this Father's Day, I mean besides the really cool looking flute we picked up from Good Will and the homemade sparkly beaded necklace, I give you this post. Wrapping it up with the kinda sincere heart love perhaps only you may feel while reading it. That's ok but if I know you, the words will be worth more than a neato tie or a yummy bacon of the month club subscription.  These sentiments aren't all straight out of my rose covered mouth, they are from your children and inner circle.
OJBP.....Forever!

What makes Daddy a Father of Day Daddy?
(paraphrased from memory)

He is always patient with us, no matter what.

He un-selfishly lives for his children in every situation.

He is honest to the core.

He is so giving and a non-complainer.

He remembers every ones order at Fire House Subs, down to every last detail. (Just a bit of mayo, wheat double grilled, no lettuce, extra bacon, no pickles, tomatoes on the side....etc.)

He gives us strick rules we may not appreciate til later but he sticks with them and follows up.

He shows us what a parent and real man looks like.

He spends all his time on us.

He is a strong leader.

He is gentle and compassionate with the strongest of hands.

He is hardworking in all endeavors, big or small.

He teaching and encourages people around him, wherever he is.

He loves us even when we mess up.

He lives out in real life how to love one another.
