No Climbing on the Rocks

It was all fun and games with the two littles until we spotted this awful command embossed upon the small green sign. Actually, the many small signs strategically placed in and around the coolest climbing rocks ever. 

NO CLIMBING ON BOULDERS

Now, I will say, working for Parks and Recreation is not found anywhere on my resume but entertaining energetic kids at desperate times proudly is.

 (please let us climb on the boulders) 

I have never designed a public park and this one in Uptown not Downtown Charlotte is truly amazing. Hats off to the people involved making this space a beautiful place for families, couples and business people to frolic, picnic and enjoy the outdoors with an impressive skyline backdrop. Open spaces, colorful flowers, concerts and a water fountain you can actually get in to cool off on a hot summer day. Come and check it out, just remember...
