Just a Woman with a Sharpie

I'm a non-smoker and I've never tried water skiing. I enjoy LONG "sits" on the beach with a seriously COLD Diet Moutain Dew in a can. Blessed that being a MOM is my calling. Was raised Catholic but I'm learning slowly it's OK to "free style" pray out loud in front of people. I own SHARPIES in almost every color, shape and size. Met my husband on a blind date one Friday, three days later he asked me to be his wife. God is good, all the time. All the time, God is good!

We Struck it Rich!

Day 141 ~ Year 3

WE STRUCK IT RICH....we really did.

If, by RICH you mean......

*found heart shaped rocks

*weren't bitten by any snakes

*gorged on off brand Teddy Grahams

*didn't break our necks on the slippery rocks

*marveled at the beauty of God's handy work

*snapped many an Instagram worthy selfies

*worked off a few calories

*felt alive with cold creek water in our shoes

*lived to tell about starting a water fight with Big Daddy

*discovered fools gold more than once

*pretended to be Pocahontas and Sacajawea

*singing Disney related songs slightly off key

YEP

So, like I said.

We struck it rich, we really did.
