Ms. Jenn, thank you for letting us crash your Friday afternoon school day a few weeks ago.

Meeting our pen pals in person was a super big treat. My kids were not eager to trade the sunshine and fun of the playground for a 2 hour ride home inside of the dirty prison van.

Asking me many times on the way home,

"When we can come back to Charleston for a field trip to see you all again?" 

The latest round of letters have meant so much more to us now that we can put a smiley face and personalty to the name written on the paper with a #2 pencil.

Thank you for making us feel welcome and at home inside your school and playground.

Tell all the kids we said "Hi" and be on the look out for a big brown envelope soon.
