Waterfall Day......WRITTEN BY DELANEY

Thank you Delaney for reminding me about this fun day and the pictures to go along with your words.

Today for my journal entry I will be writing about the day we took a trip to the

waterfalls with Diane, David and Dylan. One of the best days ever. 

The first time my brothers and sister went to Gooseberry Falls

with us they kept asking all sorts of questions.

Are they big?

Are they pretty?

What do they look like?

 I told them,

You will just have to wait.

When we first got there, David took off his shirt and jumped right in, he yelled

IT'S SO FREEZING

Dylan didn't care at all, probably cause his long hair was so long it warmed him up. He jumped right in after his big brother. It took Diane a while to get used to the water but she loved it once she did get in. We all kept jumping in after we got used to the ice coldness.

 All of us loved being together while my mom took pictures of us under the waterfalls.

When we were all done at the waterfalls and everyone was pooped out we looked for towels but my mom forgot them. Nobody cared because we were having so much fun!

My mom makes us set up one more time before the sun dries us off.
She said to jump in at the same time would be cool.

The day got even better when we got in the car and started driving home. A couple blocks away there was a famous pie shop, each kid got to pick out their own little pie slice. My mom said it was like heaven in a styrofoam to go box, even though they forgot to give us forks.

The trip home took forever but we never ever care how long the drive or how cold the water is as long as we are all together.
