Rainy Pool Day Is Better Than No pool Day

Despite the rain and threatening dark skies to shut er down, the kids made the most of the cloudy pool day. Mastering dives, chickening out on dives, splash parties, cheer leading moves, secrets told in the deep end and the now famous mermaid game. The hours flew by for this life guard, soccer mom as I huddled under the side of the house avoiding getting wet. I wasn't going to close to pool on account of a little rain but the thought of re-doing my messy bun hairdo, well......we can't have any of that now can we.
