This little one is highly motivated by accessories, especially anything purrty, girly and shiny. Given La La's birth order it's rare she is the recipient of anything new. I believe she was almost five before she found out most people buy clothes with actual tags on them. So, when the reward of a brand spanking new watch was held as a carrot in front of her she reached for it.

 Learn to tell time and we will head straight to Walmart, we will not pass go, the Post Office or even Chic-fi-la for a large Diet Dr. Pepper with crunchy ice. You may pick out any one you'd like, within reason of course. (What I really mean here is, within a $12.88 price point.) 

 It. Was. On. This home school hamster diligently put in the study minutes to past her test. The box next to telling time has now been checked off the list, along with shoe tying, opening a door with an actual key, swiping a debit card at Aldi and wiping her butt. The to-learn list of necessary life skills is getting shorter as she gets taller. And that, my friend, is all we can ask for some days.
