A Good Attitude Goes A Long Way
Day 92
July 31st, 2013
Team Zybko
What's worse than having knee surgery?
Having a second surgery to repair the same thing and more.
Lil David you have had such a great attitude during the entire process. Keeping your glass half full. From the second tearing to the diagnosis to the surgery and through the beginning stages of recovery.
He has historically been our most active kid. We liked to introduce you and explain to others you were the most fun, Team Zybko's furless, 2 legged golden retriever. Always ready to play, never sitting still, making a sport out of any game and crushing every single one of us....all the time.
It proved somewhat impossible to find a picture of you NOT jumping, in motion or making a goofy face.
Seems to hit my above point home. Why just cruise through life when you can do it while tossing a ball, snow boarding down a sand dune, making someone laugh or hurling yourself and your hurt knee a few feet over your siblings heads.
You are doing a terrific job keeping your chin up with a good attitude during intense rehab sessions. Giving everything you have, keeping your eye on the finish line, a time when you can begin running and playing sports. I enjoy hearing the encouraging reports from Grandma and Grandpa as they provide such a wonderful place of comfort and support. Keep it Davers.
