Colossians 3:23

Whatever you do, 

work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord,

 not for human masters.

With every morning sun rise I tell myself

It's time to get up and work for the Lord.

With every load of laundry,

I am working for the Lord.

With every compromise in marriage,

I am working for the Lord.

With every trip to a soccer practice,

I am working for the Lord.

With every hour clocked in,

I am working for the Lord.

With every meal cooked for my family,

I am working for the Lord.

With every friendship,

I am working for the Lord.

With every conversation with one of my kids,

I am working for the Lord.

With every struggle in life,

I am working for the Lord.

Psalm 73:28

But as for me, it is good to be near God.

    I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge;
