Nucor Family Picnic Day was just what the doctor ordered for an oddly open Zybko Saturday afternoon. It was the perfect way to spend a few hours with some truly awesome people.
The weather somehow seemed pre-ordered like the rest of the activities and entertainment, couldn't have been prettier. We were gifted a beautiful Spring day and an huge, rented pavilion for those not interested in the overly bright Louisiana sunshine.
No one walked away hungry as the food was well thought out and never ran out! Fresh crayfish, pastalaya, hot dogs, hamburgers and refreshing snow cones on deck!
The entire family crossed a few awesome activities off our weekend fun list of things to do we didn't even know were on there. Outdoor laser tag, an Easter Egg hunt/race, a two hour Cabbage Ball game and jumpy things but the grand prize of the day belongs to the hamster wheel races. Who knew rolling around a sweaty blow up plastic ball could be that much fun?!

Now, thank goodness I have an entire year to brush up on my bat swinging and pop fly catching and remember to wear tennis shoes.
