A Peace Which Transcends All Understanding

These 4 verses below from Philippians chapter 4 are pretty 'popular' and often quoted when going through a hard time. They may even roll off your tongue lickety split to a friend who needs to hear it, at just the right time. To have the peace of God which transcends all understanding. Oh yes, thank you. I would also like a some. I am always in for that kinda peace. 

Whoa sista, (I am talking to myself here) hold the phone, it doesn't work that way. You can't just shimmy down to verse 7 and enjoy the peace with out doing your homework.  

Don't just ignore verses 4, 5 and 6. Skipping the meal and jumping into the 8 layer chocolate dessert cake. Sounds tempting but no, no, no. Slide your finger back up a few inches on your Bible. 

Read them, re-read them, memorize them and put them into action in your life. Then go, take off and proceed to verse 7.
