The Day in the Life of a Little Sister
Day 6
June 3, 2014
Team Zybko

Being a little sister usually equals less choices yet plenty of unexpected perks. Lala is quite used to being dragged along for the ride, going here and going there, yesterday was no different. Assigned to the Gold Hill Middle School kick ball station, none of us knew what to expect for this scheduled and long awaited field day. GO BULL DOGS! All and all a good time was had by all but somewhere around the 4th crazy hour this sweet six year began to fizzle out.

Working for free, learning how to speak up and holding a responsibility as huge as timekeeper was a home school mini life lesson. After all day in the hot pre-summer South Carolina sun she was finally able to play with the big dogs. A few laps around the make shift kickball diamond was well worth it's weight in gold. Low fives, high fives, genuine smiles plus shouts of encouragement from the sweaty adolescent student body was all she needed.

Lala only knows how to be a little sister, she knows no other world, and from her experience she also knows it doesn't get any better than this.
