AMUSEMENTS OF AMERICA
OWN AND RUN BY THE FIVE VIVONA BROTHERS

This Carnival at the Civic Center was a mini Disney World for our pre-stooges and their BFF'S. Opening day we stayed open to close, the next day six more hours. You do the math, that's a ton of excitement, sugar, screams, people watching and possible chances of hurling on a perfectly innocent stranger. Yep, I'm keeping it real, cause even as the Mom of these slightly hyped up, out of control kids it really, really, really was an awesome in-town vacation treat.

Meet my favorite Mamasita, Lourdes Vivona. She is like an angel friend to me and our family. Not exactly sure when we met but I know she was sent straight from Heaven, taking a slight detour in Puerto Rico then South Cakalacky. No matter where we move to in the future, I'm 100% positive she will remain a heart friend to me for life.
She and I we think a lot of similar thoughts. Hers may be in Spanish mine in English, no difference still the same. We have on several occasions been mistaken for one another from behind. Sorry Lourdes it's the junk in the trunk issue. She makes me laugh and cry, sometimes in the same conversation. Like my Hispanic twin I never knew I had. Lourdes has a heart so big for giving it's constantly bursting at the seams. Her perky, perfect smile is contagious as well as her love for others. I tease her about her most wonderful Latino accent even though she speaks English more better than this gringo from the states.

Believe it or not this is the only picture I have of us together. She too is a Momma behind her Nikon more so than in front. Lourdes you owe me big for posting this scrunched up picture of me not my best for sure. You on the other hand just don't take a non-bonita picture....ever. Period.
Thank you for treating us like Carnival VIP'S!
Team Zybko will never forget these dreamy marathon Fair Days.
You are the best FAIR-EE ever.
I love you to Puerto Rico and back :)

Drexel was tall enough for ever ride. Little dude man ran from gate to gate just to squeeze in that much more excitement. He simple could not get enough. I believe Carnival Crack would be a very adequate term to be used here.

La La and Evelyn. Two goofy peas in a pod. These two girls could not get any closer to being better friends.

The only snapshot I have of Car-liley-lou not squealing or laughing so hard she might wet her pants. She must have been thinking about what ride she would conquer next. This new six year old was afraid of nothing.

Marco, chillin', just along for the ride, serious but very content.

A new pastel colored Easter shirt and a too short clip on tie makes these pictures to this momma.....perfection.

Add a super cute girl friend to the mix and it was Love Boat on  sparkly motorcycles for these young whipper snappers.

Sorry Brian, this may have freaked you out a bit but you have to admit they were pretty cute.

You do get a big ole gold star for jumping in with your girls, over and over and over again. You aren't nervous are you Mr. 6 foot 4?

The famous Crazy Sub was a tidy tad higher and scarier then we all expected it to be. Girls are super calm until the yellow piece of metal begins to circle top to bottom.

No hands up for Drex....yet.

Screamy fun that could have been heard all the way across Florence.

While up in the SUB he spots his boy BFF, Corey. After about what seemed like 22 hours the ride finally stops at the pavement. Drex ditches his sisters, mom and girl BFF's to hang with the Hebler Zoo.
Thanks Christie, my sister from another mister.

Brave Boys

Dynamic Duo

Thank goodness these cars aren't real.
Not quite ready for a fourth driver on insurance.

These 3 amigos then became inseparable for the next 2 hours.

Delilah lining up for every ride that Evelyn and Carlisle ran too. In the past La La has never really felt the love of swirly rides, rides that go up and down. Loud rides, quiet rides. Rides that are rides of any kind. Not today though. Today was different. She acted as if she has carnival-ed her entire short 4 years of life. Unfortunately it dawned on this tender mommy very quickly my baby isn't as little as I thought she was.

3 straws and 46 million ounces of straight up, tickle your throat sweet Dr. Pepper.
A parched girls dream.
No complaints they had to share.

Magical things happen went you let go of certain daily rules and dietary restrictions.
Brian and I followed the amigas as they floated and skipped across the Civic Center Parking lot. Letting them lead us around the perfectly sized, fenced in by trucks Fair grounds.

So many pictures, more to come. I'm only at about the 3rd hour of 12!
